Banking Computer Account "Locking" System
Patent No: PCT/CN2004/000080 , US007712655 , JP5043442

Increasing layers of banking security - dual dynamic passwords, sophisticated security code devices - tend to make access more cumbersome for the user. Banks are missing the point - a simple but revolutionary banking system is greatly needed.

Bank accounts and specific banking activities are "locked" by banks on default. Account user needs to call a special secure number to "unlock" his/her account for a predefined time (e.g. 3-10 mins) to carry out the desired banking activity.

Account users can predetermine which banking activities require "unlocking" before use. They are assigned with a private phone number that can be dialed from any caller device. The call will connect the caller to a financial computer account system that will quickly authenticate the caller's identity, and "unlock" the caller's bank account for a predefined period for transactions to be performed.
